Cas P What I like most are these compositions.The slower melody parts feel familiar to me even though they are not; they seem like old friends.There were also several high speed chases on sax that left me with "Wow Face". Favorite track: Borinquen.

En aquests temps sense precedent, aquest disc és el més a prop que us trobareu a anar a un concert. Planejada inicialment per ser gravada en directe, la sessió va tenir lloc el passat novembre al Milano Jazz Club de Barcelona. Finalment es va donar sense públic, a part d'en Kato, el nostre fidel tècnic de so. Tot i això, la banda estava en plena forma i preparada per gravar. Fins i tot van tenir la col·laboració d'un dels seus acompanyants preferits, el pianista Joan Monné, qui va donar el seu toc a les tres últimes peces del recull.

La Irene està tan dedicada a tirar endavant aquest disc que hi ha invertit tots els esforços possibles, fins i tot publicant-lo en format de vinil. Això em fa molt feliç com a membre del trio, de la discogràfica i com a dissenyador, ja que una vegada més em dóna l'oportunitat de participar-hi més enllà que només amb la bateria.

Aquest repertori, gairebé original en la seva totalitat, recrea la sensació d'un club ple a vessar. Col·loqueu l'agulla, poseu-vos còmodes i prepareu-vos per swingar amb nosaltres.

“Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome the Irene Reig Trio!!!”

In these unprecedented times, this is the closest thing you'll get to a live concert. Originally planned as a live recording, the session took place last November at the Milano Jazz Club in Barcelona. It finally took place without an audience, apart from our loyal sound engineer, Kato. Nevertheless, the band were in great shape and ready to record, thrilled to be joined by one of their most beloved accompanists, the pianist Joan Monné, who added his beautiful touch to the last three pieces of the set.

Irene is so determined with this date that she is going all the way with it, publishing the music on vinyl. This makes me so happy as a member of the trio, of the label and as a designer, because it gives me the chance to once again participate beyond the drums alone.

This selection of music, almost completely original, creates within the listener the feeling of a packed club. Place the needle, sit down, and start swinging with us.

En estos tiempos sin precedente, este disco es lo más cercano que encontraréis a ir a un concierto. Planeada inicialmente para ser grabada en directo, la sesión tuvo lugar el pasado noviembre en el Milano Jazz Club de Barcelona. Finalmente se hizo sin público, aparte de Kato, nuestro fiel técnico de sonido. Aún así, la banda estaba en plena forma y preparada para grabar. Hasta tuvieron la colaboración de uno de sus acompañantes favoritos, el pianista Joan Monné, quien dio su toque a las últimas tres piezas del trabajo.

Irene está tan dedicada a sacar adelante este disco que le ha invertido todos sus esfuerzos, hasta publicándolo en vinilo. Esto me hace muy feliz como miembro del trío, de la discográfica y como diseñador, ya que una vez más me da la oportunidad de participar más allá que solamente con la batería.

Este repertorio, casi completamente original, recrea la sensación de un club lleno hasta la última fila. Colocad la aguja, poneros cómodos y prepararos para swingar con nosotros.

Difficult to name a favourite track, however if I was forced to choose an all time favourite album this would certainly be up there at the top. I'm in the UK but it was a friend in South Africa that introduced me to Gondwana. Absolutely beautiful album from start to finish, amazing musicians and composition both. Thank you, it inspires me to become a better musician. rai scott
